Integrated Electronic Control Unit

Overview

The Integrated Electronic Control Unit (IECU – BEKB) is a unit that processes commands received through its communication channels to distribute power to its connected units and subsystems. It also sends various analog and digital status information collected from its general-purpose input/output hardware and/or sensors to the system over communication channels for further processing.

Benefits

  • Providing more reliable semiconductor switching capability instead of relays and circuit breakers for platforms,
  • Reduction in the number of electronic units on the platform,
  • Easy integration and commissioning,
  • Configurability through software,
  • Continuous monitoring of load voltage and current,
  • Independent short-circuit and overcurrent protection for each channel,
  • Continuous recording of current, voltage, and other signals with timestamps,
  • Built-in CPLD programming capability for safety conditions.

Applications

  • Manned/Unmanned Land, Sea, and Air platforms,
  • Power distribution (up to 400 A),
  • Data collection and distribution for analog and digital sensors,
